Based in the South East of England, I have provided a high quality painting & decorating service for 30+ years to clients across the UK and Europe. For several years I have focused on the more artistic side of interior decoration as these skills are slowly being lost. Using the skills and experience I have developed over the last 30 years I have curated a series of online courses to teach the ancient art of traditional decorative paint techniques, like, wood graining, marbling and broken colour paint effects, to ensure these skills are passed onto the next generation of painters and decorators, and DIY enthusiasts.
The Studio

Based in Hythe, Kent, South Coast Studio is just a few minutes’ walk from Princes Parade, with its shingle beach, popular with families, fisherman, kite surfers, paddleboarders and sailing boats, to name but a few. Views of the bay carry round through to Dungeness in one direction and Folkestone in the other.
To reach the beach, you pass over the Royal Military Canal. The canal was built between 1804 and 1809 as a defence against invasion by Napoleon. It starts here in Seabrook and stretches for 28 miles to Cliff End near Hastings. As well as wildlife, you will see kayaks, paddle boards and rowing boats on the canal and if you stroll along the tow path into the town of Hythe, a twenty minute walk, you can board the electric boat, which takes you on a peaceful ride where you can immerse yourself in the nature and wildlife up close, you may be even be lucky enough to spot a Kingfisher darting about the reeds.

You can cycle through the quaint seaside village of Sandgate, with its Tudor Castle, antique shops, cafes, and restaurants and you can’t visit the seaside without a trip the Little Fish Shop, near the beach.
The Creative Quarter in Folkestone, known for its artists and creative businesses is a must do. Stroll down the cobbled old high street, taking refreshments along the way, until you reach Folkestone harbour, through the arches you will come upon the fish market and sunny sands beach, or you may wish to walk along the former railway line where the Orient Express once journeyed. The Harbour Arm Pier where ships once docked, is now a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, with regular events, street food, cafes, restaurants, and bars. You are surrounded by beautiful views of the English Channel and on a good day you can see France on the horizon.
